What is an CAA and what permissions does it have?

CAA stands for Confirmed Account Administrator. This is a user with the highest level of permissions (a super-administrator) who has successfully completed the account confirmation process on the platform.

What permissions does an CAA have?

An account with CAA status holds exclusive authority to manage e-Delivery mailboxes and addresses. Only an CAA can:

  • delete an account if an e-Delivery mailbox is assigned to it (and make the required setting changes, such as setting the address to private),
  • create new e-Delivery mailboxes,
  • request the generation or disclosure of a BAE address,
  • grant permissions for mailboxes to other users,
  • designate other super-administrators and grant them AKP status (once they meet the strong authentication requirements).
