How does bulk export and update of contacts work in Autenti?

This feature, available to users with Super Admin permissions, allows you to quickly download the full list of contacts (private, shared, or all) and make bulk changes – without having to edit them one by one.

In practice, this means you can:

  • export contacts to a file to import them into another system, prepare bulk changes, or archive them,

  • update default roles, signature types, job titles, or contact details for multiple recipients at once,

  • import the modified file back into Autenti, and the system will automatically assign the saved settings to the right recipients in future processes.

How it works:

1. Go to the address book and select the Export contacts option.

2. Select the export range – you can download:

  • private contacts,

  • shared contacts,

  • all contacts.

3. Download the file and open it in a spreadsheet.

4. Make the necessary changes, e.g.:

  • assign default roles (e.g. "signer"),

  • set signature types (e.g. qualified),

  • correct contact details or job titles.

5. Save the modified file.

6. Import the file back into the system using the Update contacts function.

7. From now on, when sending documents, the system will automatically assign the saved settings to the right recipients – without manually entering the data.


Thanks to this, you save time, eliminate repetitive tasks, and maintain data consistency across the entire organization.
