How to Open a Document Protected with an SMS Code?

The Autenti platform allows senders to protect documents with an additional access code. In this case, each attempt to view the document requires entering a one-time SMS verification code.

How to open a protected document step by step

  1. Open the email notification regarding the document and click the button to view it.
  2. On the security prompt screen, click Send the SMS code.
  3. Check your mobile phone and enter the one-time code received via SMS into the designated field.
  4. Once verified, you will gain access to the document content.

Troubleshooting

  • Incorrect code entered 3 times
    If an incorrect SMS code is entered 3 times, access to the document will be automatically blocked for 1 hour. You can attempt to open the document again only after this period expires.
  • SMS message did not arrive
    Verify that the sender entered the correct phone number. If the number is incorrect, contact the sender and request that they resend the document with updated details.
